At Midfield, everyone is important, from the youngest learners to the graduating seniors. The district fosters a culture where students receive individualized attention, ensuring their academic, emotional, and social needs are met. Teachers, administrators, and support staff work closely together to create a nurturing environment, emphasizing equity, inclusion, and success for all. 

Midfield City Schools also provides specialized support for students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism and behavioral challenges. The district recognizes the importance of relationships and mentorship, offering peer-support programs and disability awareness training to promote understanding and unity among students.

Through engaging programs, community involvement, and student-centered initiatives, Midfield City School District remains committed to empowerment and extraordinary outcomes, ensuring that every student feels seen, supported, and prepared for a successful future.

The Midfield City School District is also a proud Safe and Civil School District, committed to fostering a positive, structured and supportive learning environment for all students.  The district utilizes the CHAMPs Program, a proactive approach to classroom management that helps teachers establish clear expectations for student behavior, ensuring a safe, respectful, and productive atmosphere in every school.   

Midfield City School District is a close-knit community that operates four schools:  Midfield Elementary, Rutledge Middle, Midfield High School, and an Alternative Learning Center.  Despite being a small district, Midfield prides itself on creating a spirit of care, where every student, staff member, and family is valued and supported.
