    School Counseling

    Hands in the air

Guidance and Counseling is an integral component of the educational environment that is accessible to all students. The counseling and guidance program in Midfield City Schools consists of activities that address and meet students’ various educational and developmental needs. School counselors show that each activity implemented as a part of the school counseling and guidance program is developed as a result of a thorough analysis of student needs, desired achievement goals, and related data.

Students are provided opportunities to gain an understanding of self and others, to participate in educational and occupational exploration, and to pursue career planning opportunities in an environment that is safe, caring, and encouraging. Counselors work in collaborative partnerships with students, educators, parents, and community members to empower students to reach their highest level as productive members of society.
